Little Neighborhood Playground

A playground just a block away! What can be better? Swing on the swings, slide down the slide, get across those monkey bars, climb the rock climbing part... So much to do! Smell the flowers too, if you want. It's a playground, so play!

Feel free to interact with your neighbors here. ;3

NOTE: toys and food are NOT allowed to be used here.

Wren arrives.

Wren came flying quickly and excitedly. She was going to be the first to step into the newly built playground. Energetically she climbed the bars to get to the slide. Kala was coming too. "Quick, Kala, come here!"

Kala dashed off after Wren and then chuckled. (let me think of a ride...uhh...boat rides? xD) She looked around for something that she was interested in.

There were swings, monkey bars, climbing bars, slides, a small pool, a tennis court, and even a little lazy river (chlorinated and connected to the pool, of course) that winded around. To get to the center of the playground you had to cross a bouncy bridge.

"Let's swim for a while," Lyra suggested.

OOC: Birds can swim? 0.0

BIC: Kala smiled and then jumped into the pool, then she went into the little lazy river and murmured an "Ahh..." from relaxation.

OOC; let's call Wren half duck, half finch and half canary xDDD

IC; Wren giggled. "My feathers are all wet," she laughed when the splash from Kala hit her face. She jumped in too. "Look. There are mini boats here," she observed, "They're just the right size for us."

OOC: 0.o And Kala is half dragon and half unicorn xD Just kidding

BIC: Kala smiled and then hopped onto a boat.

Wren shook and fluffed her feathers and hopped in the one next to Kala's. Inside she found two paddles. "This is interesting," she chirped, "I wonder who built this stuff."

"Hm....that makes you wonder, Wren," Kala replied.

"Maybe the government built it," Wren piped up, "Except I don't think there's a government here. Not one that I really know of anyway. I do know that there are two invisible beings that control this whole world. Do you think they built it?"

"I never heard of that," Kala gasped.

"Really?" Wren blinked, "It's a local legend, I heard."

Kala murmured, "Well that's the first time I've heard it then..."

Wren shrugged. "It's more of a rumor than a myth right now, really," she peeped, "Do you believe in it, though?"

"I can't say," Kala muttered. "I've never heard of it ever so I can't decide." She shook the thought out of her head and then jumped out of the boat to practice swimming.

"I personally sorta believe it, you know?" Wren paddled around the lazy river, "It's sort of...mystical. I like it that way."

"Well, I guess I can believe it....but who made this up if it's a rumor?" Kala wondered, stopping in her lap around the lazy river.

"Who knows?" Wren shrugged, "Maybe one of the invisible beings went to some people in a dream, and they believed it." She jumped out of her boat and made a splash.

Kala swam underwater to dodge the splash and then came back up. "But...is that possible? I've heard that the dead or the immortal come to the mortal and alive to speak in dreams....but only in books or myths. No one even knows if [i]those[/b] are true."

Wren shrugged again. "I think it's possible," she peeped and shook her head, "I think we're getting a bit too spiritual. We should talk about something happier--" she got an idea, "I know! Let's go to Little Town Park!"

Kala chuckled, ruffling her fur. "Okay. Can we go to the adoption center next?(or was it the nursery?)"

OOC; it's adoption center ;3 The nursury is where you drop off your pets and adopted characters when you're leaving for a while

IC; "Of course," laughed Wren, "But I feel like chasing butterflies for the moment. Don't you agree?" She hopped out of the pool and shook her feathers, splattering droplets everywhere. She grinned and waited for an answer.

"Of course," Kala replied dully, following Wren and the butterflies.(are there butterflies right now?)

ooc; I'll play along xD

ic; Wren fluttered after the little bugs and out of the playground. She exited the place.

Kala followed. Maybe this was a little fun.
